Ante-Natal Support
Being pregnant can be an exciting but also nervous time for parents. Coleraine Sure Start has two ante-natal programmes to help parents-to-be prepare for their new arrival.
Our Couples Preparation for Labour and Birth course is delivered by our two Health Visitors – and expectant mums can bring along a partner, husband, friend or mother to support them.
Input also from a physiotherapist, breastfeeding support staff etc!
Our Teen Ante-Natal Programme is aimed specifically to teenage expectant mums, and help them prepare for the birth of their child. Partners, friends and parents/grandparents are most welcome to come along too.
Breastfeeding Support
Your First Visit
8 weeks old a Sure Start Health Visitor will call to introduce you to the wide range of programmes and activities we have on offer. You will receive a free “Baby Book Start” pack containing a book for your baby, some books for yourself, a dental pack, a bath thermometer and a few other goodies.
