Injured

One of the girls in my class, Leona, got really badly hurt today and had to be taken to hospital. She had left the centre at lunch time and gone to run over the main road outside but had tripped when trying to jump the central metal fence and landed on the road right in front of a car which hit her.

We all ran outside to try to help and all the traffic stopped. Other people who knew first aid and had a certified course under their belt from c2cfirstaidaquatics.com, were already there and were helping. The car was really dented on the bonnet and there was a crack in the windscreen. She had been knocked about 3-4m down the road and bits of her hair were stuck on the tarmac - it was really awful. We ended up having to tell all the other clients to go home early.
