  1. I opened a spreadsheet file in Numbers earlier this evening and it reported that it had a problem with the font Calibri not being installed.

It let me substitute Ariel instead. It seems to work okay in this particular spreadsheet.

    1. Thats very strange – it always seems to work fine in all applications. I did wonder if there are other variations of the font (e.g. Calibri Bold etc) that I have not managed to get – I will go and investigate further! 🙂

  2. OMG thank you so much. My printer wasn’t printing capital A in Calibri, so I had to delete and reinstall your fonts then reset my computer, which worked!

    1. Yep, very sure it works! Over 200,000 people have downloaded it and got it working so far!

It should install seamlessly on your Mac, showing the exact screens that I captured, then a re-boot and Calibri is in the font-list in all applications.

  9. thanks a lot. I think the simplest way to export them all at once is open your “Font Book” application and drag all the fonts into it instead of installing it one by one.

  10. Thanks, but you do realise that it is illegal to use Calibri or Cambria in anything that is commercially printed? Microsoft has not ever licensed these fonts for anything other than use in their own programmes. It is perfectly legal to use them in PowerPoint, Word or Excel as none of these programmes was intended for commercial output. Using them for any printed material, other than that which might be used internally within a commercial enterprise, is not legal.

    1. Good to know – that isn’t something that was ever advertised anywhere! Im sure most people are just trying to find the fonts so that Word Documents that use them render as intended in Pages on the Mac! 🙂

  11. I have downloaded to my Mac, and it appears to let it install, but it is not actually installing them. Any ideas as to why it is not working? Thanks!

    1. No idea, sorry. I know that a few people have said that you need to restart your Mac, I have never found that I needed to do this. Have you checked the Fonts folder after installing to see if the font files are in there? I’ve not tested them on anything older than Mac Os X Mountain Lion, so no idea if they work on Snow Leopard or older.
