I never imagined that I would ever be able to publish blog items from Windows Live Writer to a WordPress Blog…. however, I appear to have not taken the Microsoft buyer-power into account… and Microsoft now own WordPress, hence the closing of Live spaces, and automatic creation on WordPress.com.

Either way, now on WordPress, but still publishing using Live Writer! Fantastic combination!
